The Legend of the Kitchen Soldier

Kang Seong-jae finishes basic as the class standout and still reports to Ganglim with a file the army has already stamped: dead father, no money, watch him. The outpost parks him in the kitchen because he used to work a food truck, which is how he meets Yoon Dong-hyeon, the sergeant who cooks for the unit and does not eat what he plates. A screen only Seong-jae can see starts issuing cook's-path quests. Each one he clears makes the meals better and the paperwork around the base look worse. Park Jae-young runs supply like a man who stopped waiting for a promotion. Cho Ye-rin is the lieutenant counting days. Captain Hwang Seok-ho wants the kitchen quiet and the inspections clean. The quests do not stop at lunch.
