My Troublesome Star

One moment, Im Se-ra is one of Korea’s biggest stars. The next, she wakes up twenty-five years older with no memory of what happened in between. Now living as Bong Cheong-ja, she is determined to uncover how her glittering career disappeared along with decades of her life and, if possible, reclaim the spotlight she believes still belongs to her. Her unlikely ally is Dokgo Chul, a former detective who has been demoted to traffic duty and has troubles of his own. As they piece together the mystery of Se-ra’s missing years, two people whose best days seem to be behind them find an unexpected chance to begin again. My Troublesome Star mixes romantic comedy and mystery into a story about lost time, faded dreams, and discovering that a comeback doesn’t always mean returning to the person you used to be.
