Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth

Before they became legends, they were an unruly group of young men who had to learn how to become warriors together. In the ancient kingdom of Silla, an elite group known as the Hwarang is formed from the sons of powerful families, bringing together young men with very different ambitions, loyalties, and secrets. Among them is Moo-myung, an outsider who enters their ranks with a personal mission, and a young king hiding his true identity while quietly searching for a way to claim his place on the throne. Thrown into rigorous training and constant rivalry, the Hwarang must learn to fight beside men they may not trust while navigating friendship, romance, political schemes, and questions of loyalty. Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth blends historical drama with youthful energy, following a brotherhood forged in competition as its members discover what and who they are willing to fight for.
