Doctor on the Edge

Brilliant plastic surgeon Do Ji-ui expects his year of mandatory public service to be little more than an inconvenience … until he is sent to Pyeondong-do, a remote island surrounded by the sea he fears most because of a past trauma. Stranded among nosy villagers and unfamiliar medical challenges, Ji-ui meets Yook Ha-ri, a warm but mysterious nurse who has her own reasons for leaving the city. As they care for the island’s residents and slowly uncover each other’s secrets, the unlikely pair begin to find comfort, healing, and romance in the place Ji-ui was desperate to escape.
